A first for both of us

I'm taking on my first three wedding couples for 2027, at a founding rate. I've been behind a camera since 2017, filming moments that only happen once and people who've never been in front of one. I haven't filmed a wedding yet, so yours would get everything I've got.

Three dates at the founding rate

The first three couples get the full day for less. In return, I ask to share your film here with an honest review. Once all three are booked, the founding rate ends.

Each slot is one wedding in 2027. Kept up to date as dates are booked.

The honest bit

Never a wedding. Plenty like one.

A wedding is a live event with no second takes, full of people who aren't used to a camera, and it stands or falls on the edit. That's the work I've been doing since 2017.

Moments that only happen once

I started out filming live football for BT Sport, where nothing can be retaken and the highlights went out the same day. Conferences and keynotes since have worked the same way. Your vows get that same discipline.

People who've never been on camera

Warehouse teams, company directors and football fans before kick-off, relaxed enough to be themselves on film. Speeches and messages from your guests need exactly that.

You won't notice me

Most of my corporate work was filmed around live operations without stopping them. A ceremony is no different: you shouldn't notice the camera until you're watching the film.

Cut to the music

Music videos taught me to edit to a song, not just over it. Your highlights film should feel the way the day sounded.

Questions

What you're probably wondering

Have you really never filmed a wedding?

No, and I'd rather tell you now than have you find out later. What I have done is live events, interviews and music films, which covers most of what a wedding asks for. The founding rate is there because you'd be taking a chance on me, and I don't take that lightly.

Can we see a wedding film before we book?

Not yet. That's what the founding couples are for. You can watch every other film I've made in the work, and I'm happy to talk you through exactly how I'd film your day before you commit to anything.

What if something goes wrong on the day?

Everything that matters is recorded twice. The camera writes to two cards at once, a second camera body is on hand, and the vows and speeches are recorded on separate mics as well as in camera. If one thing fails, there's another copy.

Will there be a second camera operator?

Not as standard. I run two cameras myself through the ceremony and speeches. If your day is big enough to need a second operator, I'll say so in the quote, once I know someone is free for your date.

Can we have all the raw footage?

Not all of it. A full wedding day runs to hundreds of gigabytes, far too much to send. If there's something you'd like to keep uncut, such as a reading, a song or a message from a relative, tell me and I'll send those clips alongside your films.

When does the founding rate end?

When all three founding dates are booked. The slots above are kept up to date, so what you see is what's left.
